LJ has spent the last four years as a presenter, producer and director for BBC Click, and also regularly writes and presents for the BBC Tech Desk’s Video On Demand Section. She contributes as an expert guest on many TV sofas, including BBC Breakfast, News Channel, BBC World News, Radio 4, Radio Scotland and more.

Click is the BBC’s flagship technology programme – it’s the most watched programme on the Global iPlayer and broadcasts on BBC News and BBC2 in the UK and BBC World News worldwide. LJ, like most people who work on Click, is a self-shooting producer reporter who enjoys a large degree of autonomy on the programme.  From pitching a feature idea to filming and presenting reports, working on Click requires a lot of production knowledge – sometimes including being responsible for programme delivery. She has scripted, shot and spoken on screen from Tokyo to Texas, and most places in between.

LJ was the creator of ‘Click Bits’ a 3 minute technology newsburst which successfully ran for 14 episodes and was the proof of concept and fore-runner to the BBC Global Technology Newsbelt  - which at the last count is translated into 17 languages.

She enjoys a degree of notoriety from her stint at QVC, the Shopping Channel, where she was the gadget and technology expert for 6 years. This gave her a unique insight into industry practice, product lifecycles, consumer behaviour and what constitutes successful behaviour for start-ups and small businesses.
